ABILENE, TX-Now that the holidays are over, it is time to lose those unwanted pounds. Starting January 26 Abilene Regional Medical Center’s Healthy Woman program will launch a Lose to Win Weight Loss Challenge. There is no fee to enter, but much to win.
Lose to Win Contestants will receive:
- A FREE Eat Like a Loser nutritional session from ARMC nutritionists
- FREE one-on-one exercise consultation from ARMC Well Health personnel
- FREE Body Fat Testing (Before & After) from ARMC Well Health personnel
- FREE Before & After Pictures
- Special Discounted Rates for the ARMC Well Health Fitness Facility
What is the reward for entering the Lose to Win Challenge? Aside from better health, the first place winner will receive $500. And once again, there is no fee to enter.
Registration for the Lose to Win Challenge begins January 26. All Lose to Win contestants must complete their official weigh-in, at the ARMC Well Health Center, no later than February 17.
Lose to Win contestants will be judged on percentage of weight lost. Final weigh-ins will be held April 16 and 17 at the ARMC Well Health Center. The winner will be announced by Abby Rike, former Biggest Loser Contestant and featured motivational speaker at the Healthy Woman Anniversary Event on April 19.
To help Lose to Win contestants shred the weight, Healthy Woman is also hosting a Healthy Woman Boot Camp. The 8-week camp will be held at the ARMC Well Health Fitness Center and will offer twice weekly indoor and outdoor classes; with instruction by Belinda Southall, D.C.
Boot Camp participants will receive:
- A FREE Healthy Woman Boot Camp T-shirt at halfway point of program
- Weekly Fitness Challenges
Boot Camp classes begin February 20 and conclude April 12. Class times are 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Registration for the Healthy Woman Boot Camp begins January 26 for Lose to Win contestants ages 25-55, and the cost is $75.00. Open registration begins February 6 for Healthy Woman members ages 25-55 that are not competing in the Lose to Win Challenge.
A Healthy Woman Lose to Win Challenge and Healthy Woman Boot Camp informational meeting will be held on January 26, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the ARMC Women’s Center. Persons planning to attend the informational meeting must RSVP to 325-428-4950 by January 24.
