The Senior Healthcare Center is a collaboration between Sears Methodist Retirement System, Inc. and Abilene Regional Medical Center, designed to specialize in healthcare services for older adults.

The Senior Healthcare Center is committed to providing quality healthcare for seniors. We pledge to treat each senior with dignity as we assess individual healthcare needs.
Many people still believe old age means sickness, which in not true. The Center provides the expertise and training to recognize and manage the common problems that occur with aging. We are focused on treating the whole person, with an emphasis on ability to function in everyday activities.
To provide this specialized care, Dr. Hazelip, Senior Healthcare Center Director, may draw on expertise of several medical disciplines.

Senior Healthcare Center focuses on the special needs of the geriatric population. The Center's services include an evaluation of your health problems as well as follow-up care. You will also find information and written material about your own health so you can play an active role whenever possible.
Senior Healthcare Center has developed a method of sharing information about your care with your permission. For example, reports about your stay in the hospital may be shared with other healthcare providers.
For your convenience, services provided at Senior Healthcare Center are billed directly to your health insurance carrier. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and almost all other health insurance plans. Additionally, Senior Healthcare Center offers special financial payment plans for those individuals who have limited financial resources.
