Senior Healthcare Center Medical Director

Dr. Sandy Hazelip, D.O., P.A., Senior Healthcare Center Director, is a native Texan born and raised in Fort Worth. Dr. Hazelip is board certified in both Family Practice and Geriatric Medicine by the America Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

Dr. Hazelip comes to the center from Eastland, Texas where she operated the Family Health Clinic from 1985-2001. Since then, her practice has focused on geriatrics in the long-term care setting, home-bound patients and hospice patients.

Dr. Hazelip's passion for medicine comes from personal experience. Her keen interest for diabetes comes from providing for her own son's care who was diagnosed as a diabetic at 13 months. Hazelip has extensive experience and continuing education in geriatric care.
